Dynamic Yoga for Strength

In this course students will combine yogic techniques and breathwork practices with Pilates-inspired bodyweight strengthening exercises to build muscular strength, deepen flexibility, and increase lung capacity. By combining the ancient practice of yoga with modern fitness approaches we can build a bridge between the breath, the body, and the mind. The breathing, relaxation, and gentle movement exercises that accompany each class stimulate circulatory and organ functions, build strength, and develop the brain-body connection.
It is advised that students taking this course have some experience with yoga an or Pilates/fitness. Students with no yoga experience are welcome, but should be open to try dynamic, physical movement, stretches, and challenges!
