Ashtanga Power Yoga
The Primary Series - In this summer intensive course you will practice Ashtanga Power Yoga, a dynamic and structured sequence of yoga postures and movements designed to promote physical strength, mental clarity, and connect breath to body. This challenging class will introduce you to many of the postures from the primary series (which are often also practiced in Vinyasa Yoga today) and allow you to experience the rigorous, unique and rhythmic flow that Ashtanga Yoga offers. This intensive pairs well with the course Summer Intensive 2 - Yang to Yin Yoga: From Power to Peace.
